This past summer, we launched the 32-channel Textile HD-EMG Grids. Alongside the positive feedback, we have received a high demand for a 64-channel version in various sizes and topologies. Now, the time is here!
We are happy to announce our new 64-channel Textile HD-EMG Grids. These new grids allow you to easily record high-quality HD-EMG signals from muscles of all shapes and sizes. This includes the small muscles of the hand to the larger muscles of the leg and back.
64-Channel (8x8) Textile HD-EMG Grids
These 64-channel grids come in an 8x8 topology. The large grids have an IED of 8.75 mm and diameter of 4 mm. The small grids have an IED of 4 mm and a diameter of 2 mm. Use the large grids to cover muscles of the back and leg, and use the smaller grids for the muscles of the hand, face, and foot.
64-Channel (6x11) Textile HD-EMG Grids
These 64-channel grids come in an 6x11 topology. The large grids have an IED of 8.75 mm and diameter of 4 mm. The small grids have an IED of 4 mm and a diameter of 2 mm. Use the large grids to cover longer muscles of the arm, back, and leg; and use the smaller grids for the muscles of the hand, face, forearm, and foot.
Easy To Customize
Follow the cutting lines along the middle of the grids to make two 32-channel, fully-functional, Textile HD-EMG Grids. This allows for further customization of the grids to match your research needs.
Connect the grids to the SAGA amplifier using the Textile HD-EMG Grid Adapter Cable(s). This cable is an actively shielded, multi cable with 32 channels.
Secure the cable anywhere on the body using the unique Textile HD-EMG Cradle. The cradle can be attached to 4 different sizes of straps to fit around different limb sizes. This easy-to-use cradle holds the adapter cable in place during all movements.
High Signal Quality and Low Noise

These grids are very suitable for use on contracting muscles, as they are flexible yet durable. Thanks to the flexibility of the used fabric, the electrodes form to the skin perfectly, reducing the probability of movement artefacts due to the rigid material of current HD-EMG grids on the market. This makes it possible to study dynamic movements, such as walking or jumping, improving signal quality and reducing the need for artifact removal.
The Textile HD-EMG grids come with Ag/AgCl electrodes, so that the signal quality remains stable over the course of the recording. Also, these grids are easy-to-use and come with a pre-applied double-sided adhesive for easier and quicker application.
